"Mid LIFE Matters" - Wallingford Public TV

I host a half-hour show on WPAA-TV celebrating women's wisdom and wit.  Fascinating women share their stories and growth mindsets:  The YouTube link for over 100 segments is https://www.youtube.com/@georgianlussier8542/videos

I am honored to win the 2016 Community Media Rika Welch leadership award for community impact; a testimony to the Guests who shared their stories on MidLIFE Matters.  In addition, an 2018 interview I did with Judith Altmann, a Holocaust Survivor, won an award.  In 2020 and 2021 two other awards acknowledged the content of interviews dealing with Child Sex Trafficking in CT and Non-Profit leadership. In 2023 MidLIFE Matters won First Place for a Profile Talk Show. A 2024 award was for a segment on Wellbeing.

Identify Your Skills

Employers are increasingly focusing on proven skills in the hiring process.  Analytical thinking is a primary requirement, and of course Artificial Intelligence is creating new technology demands.  Creative and flexible problem-solving skills are highly sought after.

My decades of HR experience, including establishing managment development programs and self-managed teams, positions me to assist job seekers with inventoring what they can bring to the table.  Having interviewed 100 women on my Community TV show convinces me that most people benefit from an objective person helping them describe their skill sets.
